There are absolutely no diagnosis, no treatment codes, and no procedure codes for this service. Typically coding is required for insurance reimbursement. Custom Foot Orthotics
A foot orthotic is a device placed inside footwear to support or correct musculoskeletal anomalies of the foot. Its goal is to optimize the mechanical function of the foot. Under ideal situations a foot orthotic should provide full, custom and correct arch contact permitting the foot to work in a biomechanically correct way during all phases of walking, running or other weight bearing activities. This full contact allows normal forces to be transcribed up through the entire body limiting destructive impact forces.
Linda is certified in casting for Sole Supports, the only full arch contact orthotic attuned to your ideal weight and foot type. These foot orthotics are worn by high performing athletes such as the Denver Bronco's football team the USA cycling team, and the average Joe/Jane. Foot orthotics are one part of the rehabilitation course or many ailments.
